Empowering Communities: Bridging the Gap for Funding and Service Development
Do you have funding to come to an end or looking for funding for a service you would like to develop that would benefit your community?
Fuddies’ conversations in August focussed on the National Lottery Community Fund Strategy 2023-2030.
The Lottery strategy is to support activities that create resilient communities that are more inclusive and environmentally sustainable – activities that will strengthen society and improve lives across the UK.
The four community-led missions that will support communities are:
- connect
- be environmentally sustainable
- help children and young people to access resources and experiences that help them thrive
- enable people to live healthier lives.
The smaller lottery programme Awards for All will also be increasing its available funding up to £20,000 and for a longer period of time from autumn 2023. This is available for unincorporated groups and can provide funding to deliver a new or existing activity or to support your organisation to change and adapt to new and future challenges.
