Embracing Change and Opportunity
Wednesday 25 June, 10.00am to 4.00pm
Maple Centre, 6 Oak Drive, Huntingdon, PE29 7HN
We’re pleased to invite you to the Support Cambridgeshire Open Day – a friendly, welcoming event for voluntary and community organisations, cross sector colleagues, and partners working across Huntingdonshire.
As we take our first steps forward as Support Cambridgeshire, this event is all about embracing change, exploring new opportunities, and building stronger local relationships. It is a space for reflection, learning, connection, and support as we all navigate a shifting landscape together.
You are welcome to stay for the full day or simply drop in for the sessions that are most useful to you.
What’s happening on the day
Reach Further with Social Media
10.00am to 11.30am
This practical and interactive workshop will help you make sense of the social media landscape, understand which platforms are best for your message, and learn how to design content that connects with your audience. Bring your phone, tablet or laptop to make the most of the hands-on support.
Networking and Lunch
Drop in anytime between 11.30am and 2.30pm
Take some time to connect with the Support Cambridgeshire team, including our Chief Executive Mark Freeman, as well as colleagues from other local organisations. A light lunch will be provided, and there will be plenty of opportunity for informal networking and conversation.
Finding Funding
2.00pm to 3.30pm
This session will offer useful tips and guidance for voluntary groups seeking funding. We will explore where to look for funding, how to ensure your organisation is ready, and what makes a strong application.
Need to work during the day?
If you would like to attend but also need to keep up with work, we can provide a quiet space for you to work from. Just let us know when booking.
