About Us

Hunts Forum of Voluntary Organisations is an independent, non-profit making registered charity based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

The charity was established in 1994 and incorporated as a charitable company in 2006. We are governed by an unpaid board of charity trustees, who are also company directors. They are drawn from our membership or co-opted for their skills or expertise.

We are based at The Maple Centre on the Oxmoor Estate. We manage the centre for us and six other frontline organisations, who are also our members, and we provide meeting rooms and a training suite on a not-for-profit basis.

Our purpose

We encourage, support and develop voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations and individuals to have a real influence over the places and communities in which they live.
