Call for stalls: Huntingdonshire Volunteer Fair
Hunts Forum, Volunteer Cambs and the team at Maple Centre are excited to bring you the ‘Huntingdonshire Volunteer Fair’, which will take place in person on 4th September between 1 pm and 4 pm at Maple Centre, Huntingdon.
Our aim for the event, supported by Huntingdonshire District Council, is to house stalls and representatives of charities and community groups looking for volunteers in and around Huntingdon and the wider district. We are looking for groups that can offer different roles, not just those that need regular volunteers.
Ideally, we want to showcase event roles, those that can be done in person but also at home, that require specific skills but also no skill, just enthusiasm. We are also keen to promote roles for those under 18, as this age group is keen to volunteer but struggles to find opportunities.
If you would like to apply for a stall, all you need to do is fill out the form by 19th July. We will then look at those organisations and compile stalls that offer various roles, time commitments, and skill levels. The more you can offer, the more likely we will give you a stall.
The stall will be given to Hunts Forum members over non-members, but we will consider other organisations if we have the capacity and you have a wide offer.
Need help with your volunteer roles? As a member of Hunts Forum, why not talk to our Development Team and discuss diversifying your volunteer offer?
