Disability Hate Crime Took Kit

Physical Disability Partnership Board has stated that it believes Disability Hate Crime should be one of its priority areas this year, as it has been since 2020.

Stop Hate UK, the leading national hate crime awareness charity, who deliver a third-party reporting service in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, have said that Disability was the second highest reason that people contacted them, and it was up by 40% on the previous year.

Stop Hate UK have worked with a number of organisations (such as Liverpool Hope University and People First Merseyside) to develop a Disability Hate Crime Toolkit.  You can find the toolkit and other resources here: https://disabilityhatecrimetoolkit.wordpress.com/
