Great announcement: Community engagement funding comes to Fenland!

Support Cambridgeshire is delighted to announce five-year funding from the National Lottery Community Fund for their work in Fenland. This project builds on a successful pilot initiated in 2021, highlighting the crucial need for support in the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS).

Julie Farrow, CEO of Hunts Forum and lead on Support Cambridgeshire, expressed her enthusiasm, stating:

“We are excited that we can now offer the communities of Fenland the same type of support that other districts receive. This five-year funding will enable us further to enhance the voluntary and community sector’s wonderful work.”

With expertise in providing guidance and training, Support Cambridgeshire aims to empower organisations and foster collaboration, ensuring consistent resources for Fenland’s charities and community groups. For more information, visit supportcambridgeshire.org.uk.

This project would not be possible without the funding received from The National Lottery Community Fund.
