Huntingdonshire Charity Trustee Network on LinkedIn
As we begin, however confidently, to learn to live with Coronavirus, face a cost-of-living and high inflation crisis and the highest rising energy costs in Europe charitable organisations will be at the forefront of dealing with the human impact. Demand for our services will increase at a time when funding will be more difficult to come by and as a sector we face difficulty recruiting for many paid posts and for volunteers. The pressure on trustees to successfully steer their charities through these crises will only increase. Organisations will have to find creative responses in order to maintain, improve and increase services in the face of these challenges.
Trustees can often feel isolated perhaps in a bubble of their own board with little opportunity to hear from trustees in other organisations, to discuss ideas and work together. Network meetings have a place, but these can easily run at inconvenient times and slide under other life pressures. That is why Hunts Forum has started a Huntingdonshire Charity Trustee Network on LinkedIn for trustees of Hunts-Based organisations, and trustees who live in the area but may be trustees of organisations outside of the district. It is also open to those who may not use the title trustee but who perform a similar role on a management committee of a community group or charity. Your organisation does not need to be a Hunts Forum member in order to join this network.
A LinkedIn group allows you to access the platform and discussions at time to suit you. Join us to create a community of support, encouragement and openness as we face the uncertain and challenging future together.
To provide additional support in the short-term Hunts Forum Development Team will act as admins for the group and will be available to provide support and guidance when requested.
